MORAVIA DIVIDE 2027 will be seventh edition of MTB bikepacking challenge across czech region Moravia, with a fixed route from Javorník to Břeclav. This time we have prepared the longest route in our history, with a length of about 850 km and an elevation gain of about 13,000 m.
A new feature for MD27 will be the inclusion of 620km short route – with a finish at RP3, where also Riders registered for main route can end their journey.
DATE, PLACES OF START AND FINISH
START: Friday 28.5.2026 at 8.15, from Javorník
FINISH: Cyklosféra club, Břeclav
LIMIT FOR PERSONAL WELCOME AT FINISH: the main organizer will be waiting at the finish until Thursday 3.6., until 14.15 (150 hours). Riders who will arrive at finish line after this time limit will be classified as finishers, but without a personal welcome.
MD27 ROUTE
Route MD27 will run approximately 90% on roads that Moravia Divide has never ridden before.
You will visit regions Rychlebské hory (with a long section on Polish side), Jeseníky, Nízký Jeseník, Moravice Valley, Oderské Vrchy, Poodří, Podbeskydí, Haná, Drahanská Vrchovina, Moravian Karst and Pálava.

The Riders will be equipped with GPS trackers, thanks to which it will be possible to follow the course of the race on Internet via FollowMe tracking application, on the page cs.follow.me.cz/tracking/md27
The Riders will be also able to share their impressions and photos on 10 FotoPoints, via UB Tracking application – ultrabikers.eu/md27-tracking

PRESENTATION, PRE-START MEETING
The presentation of the participants, combined with the collection of starting numbers and GPS trackers, will take place on Thursday, May 27. from 15.00-23.00.
The second part of the presentation for competitors who arrive at the start only on Friday morning will take place from 7.00-7.30 in the Račí Valley area.
FESTIVAL “THE WORLD OF BIKEPACKING”
On Thursday 27.5., an (optional) meeting of participants will take place in the Račí Valley area, which will include a mini-festival “The World of Bikepacking”, during which elite Czech bikepackers will perform and share their experiences from participating in races or cycling trips abroad. Friends and relatives of competitors can also attend the festival (free of charge).
The festival program will be announced in the winter.
RESTPOINTS
There will again be 3 RestPoints on the MD27 route, where you can replenish supplies, have refreshments, spend the night and meet other participants and organizers.
RP1: 125.km – Na Kovárně guesthouse, Branná
RP2: 400.km – Svinec tourist hut
RP3/FIN 600 620.km – ATC Olšovec
At 60.km, a traditional refreshment stop awaits you at the Orlowka saddle.
At 160.km, there will be an opportunity to spend the night in the gym in Šumperk.
REGISTRATION
Registration for MD27 will start on Sunday, November 29th at 8:00 PM.

Event capacity: 200 competitors.
ENTRY FEE
The basic entry fee for participation in MD27 is:
main route – solo 4000 CZK / 160 EUR, pairs 7500 CZK / 300 EUR
short route – solo 3500 CZK / 140 EUR, pairs 6500 CZK / 260 EUR
The entry fee includes: gpx file with The Route, GPS tracker rental, starting number, brevet card, small stickers, vouchers for a free drink at RestPoints worth 150 CZK, small snacks and isotonic drink at RestPoints, transportation of a small package from start to finish, entrance to mini-festival “The World of Bikepacking” + one free stage at UB event “Moravia Gravel 2027” (11.9.2027, more info in section MG27)
For finishers: medal, cycling bottle with “MD Finisher” logo, voucher 100 CZK to spend at finish in Cyklosféra.
The entry fee does not include: accommodation and food in Račí údolí, at RestPoints or in Cyklosféra, additional finisher merch (t-shirts, mugs, sweatshirts, pints, etc.).
KARBONOVÁ KOLA CHALLENGE
MD27 Riders will be able to grab a 15% discount on the purchase of new spokes from our new partner – brand “Karbonová Kola” – after overcoming one special trap (which we will reveal in the winter).

CANCELLATION FROM THE EVENT
Until 31.1.2027 – possibility of cancelling registration, no cancellation fee is charged.
From 1.2.-31.3.2027 – paid entry fee is no longer refundable, but it is possible to transfer it once to MD28 or any other UltraBikers Cup event, without cancellation fee.
From 1.4.-15.5.2027 – cancellation fee 500 CZK / 20 EUR, the rest can be transferred to another event or MD28.
From 16.5.2027 – cancellation fee 1500 CZK / 60 EUR, the rest can be transferred.
The entry fee can be transferred to another person at any time, without cancellation fee.
