MORAVIA DIVIDE 2026 will be the sixth edition of 800km bikepacking challenge across Moravia, with a fixed route for mountain bikes, from Javorník to Břeclav, with elevation gain around 13,000m.
MD26 ROUTE
In 2026, more or less completely new route will take you through the Rychlebské Hory, Zlatohorská Vrchovina, Krnov area, Nízký Jeseník, Oderské vrchy, Poodří, Beskydy, Javorníky, Slovácko and Hustopečsko.
During second section, the route will briefly visit Poland – area around the town of Prudnik – and in Javorníky you will then stay for a while in Slovakia.

MD26 HIGHLIGHTS
The greatest attractions of the route will include Nýznerov waterfalls, the gold-mine open-air museum in Zlaté Hory, lookout towers Biskupská kupa, Hraniční vrch, Cvilín, Veselská or Stratenec, water dams Slezská Harta, Kružberk or Pozlovice, lava flow near Mezina, Štramberk castle, ski jumps in Frenštát p. Radh., ridge of Javorníky, rock formations near Lačnov, Luhačovice spa, Great Moravia monument in Staré Město, Baťa´s channel, castle and church in Bzenec, views of the vineyards from chapels Hradištěk and Dalibor and famous Lednice-Valtice area.
DATE, START AND FINISH PLACES
START: Friday, May 29, 2026 at 8:00, from Račí údolí near Javorník (CZ)
FINISH: Cyklosféra club, Břeclav (CZ)
LIMIT FOR REACHING THE FINISH: the main organizer will be waiting at the finish line until Thursday, June 4, at 2:00 p.m. (150 hours). Participants who arrive at the finish line after the limit will be classified as finishers, but without a personal welcome.

PROFILE
The elevation gain on MD26 will be approximately 13-14,000m, slightly lower than in previous years. There will be 2 challenging sections on the route in Zlatohorská vrchovina and then in Beskydy and Javorníky Mountains.
SURFACE
The surface of MD26 will be one of the most demanding in our history, despite the approximately 30 % share of asphalt. We recommend completing it rather on a full-suspension bike, don’t even think about gravel 😀
GPS TRACKING
The participants of the race will be equipped with GPS trackers, thanks to which it will be possible to follow the course of the race on the Internet via the FollowMe tracking application, on the page cs.follow.me.cz/tracking/md26

PRESENTATION, PRE-START MEETING
The presentation of the participants, combined with the collection of starting numbers and GPS trackers, will take place on Thursday, May 28th from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
The second part of the presentation for competitors who arrive at the start only on Friday morning will take place from 7:00-7:30.
FESTIVAL “THE WORLD OF BIKEPACKING”
On Thursday, May 28, an (optional) meeting of participants will take place in the Račí Valley area, which will include a mini-festival “The World of Bikepacking”, during which elite Czech bikepackers will perform and share their experiences from participating in races or cycling expeditions abroad. Friends and relatives of competitors can also attend the festival (free of charge).
We will announce the preliminary program of the festival by the end of 2025.
RESTPOINTS
There will again be 3 RestPoints on the MD26 route, where you can replenish supplies, have refreshments, spend the night and meet other participants and organizers.
RP1: 130.km – Hospůdka U Rybníčku, Karlovice
RP2: 370.km – Autokemp Budišov
RP3: 630.km – Burger Brothers U Koňa, Luhačovice
At 90.km, a traditional Refreshment Station awaits you at Praděd Thamm hotel in Zlaté Hory.

Registration for MD26 will start on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at 8:00 PM.

Event capacity: 180 people + 20 substitutes.

ENTRY FEE
Entry fee for participation in MD26 is 3500 CZK / 150 EUR.
Includes: gpx file with the route, GPS tracker rental, starting number, brevet card, small stickers, vouchers for a free drink at RestPoints (worth 150 CZK), small snacks and an isotonic drink at RestPoints, transportation of a small package from start to finish, free entrance to festival “The World of Bikepacking”
For finishers: medal, diploma and car sticker “Finisher MD”, a voucher of 100 CZK to spend at the finish in the Cyklosphere.
Entry fee does not include: accommodation and food in Račí údolí, hot meals at RestPoints or in the Cyklosphere, additional finisher merch (T-shirts, cups, sweatshirts, pints, etc.).

Approximately 14 days before the start, participants will be asked to send a deposit for the GPS tracker and other expenses in the amount of 1000 CZK / 60 EUR, plus to pay the expenses for the stay in Račí údolí. In case of cancellation of participation at the last minute, the deposit will be returned in full.
CANCELLATION FROM THE EVENT
Until 10.1.2026 – possibility of canceling registration, no cancellation fee is charged.
From 11.1.-31.3.2026 – the paid entry fee is no longer refundable, but there is a possibility of transferring it once to MD26 or any other UltraBikers Cup event, without cancellation fee.
From 1.-25.5.2026 – cancellation fee 500 CZK / 20 EUR, the rest can be transferred to another event or MD27.
After 26.5.2026 – cancellation fee 1500 CZK / 40 EUR, the rest can be transferred.
The entry fee can be transferred to another person at any time, without cancellation fee.
