RAČÍ ÚDOLÍ – PRE-START MEETING, PRESENTATION

The MD26 pre-start meeting will take place on Thursday, May 28th in Račí údolí near Javorník.
The presentation and collection of GPS trackers will be open from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and on Friday morning from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM.

RAČÍ ÚDOLÍ – FOOD

For MD26 participants, dinner is available at 5:45 PM, 7:00 PM and 8:30 PM, price 200 CZK. Choice of 3 meals.

Buffet breakfast will be served on Friday morning from 7:00 AM. Price 200 CZK (included in the price for those staying in rooms).

RAČÍ ÚDOLÍ -ACCOMMODATION

MD26 participants can choose from three types of accommodation – rooms in a guesthouse, cottages or party tent.
You can write down the specific type of accommodation in the form for facilitating the organization, which you will receive about a month before the start. Priority in the selection will be given to better-placed participants of the UB Cup 2025.

5x Double room – 2,300 CZK/night
2x Quadruple room – 3,900 CZK/night
1x Quadruple apartment – 4,200 CZK/night
2x Six-bed room – 5,200 CZK/night
1x Eight-bed apartment with private bathroom – 8,500 CZK/night
Prices include breakfast.

13x Cottages and 4x Log Cabins – 450 CZK/person – shared bathroom in the main building

Party tent – 150 CZK/person

RAČÍ ÚDOLÍ – FESTIVAL OF THE WORLD OF BIKEPACKING

On Thursday afternoon we organize a traditional mini-festival with screenings of Czech and Slovak bikepackers.
Program of the fifth year:

16:00 – Jakub Gsela: Final Frontier Patagonia 2026
17:30 – Tomáš Fabián: Silk Road Mountain Race 2026
19:00 – Laco Branický: 9 months by bike across Africa
21:00 – pre-start meeting MD26

There is no charge for participation in the festival and family members or companions of MD26 participants are also invited.

REFRESHMENT STATION

We have arranged a traditional Refreshment Stop for MD26 at the Praděd Thamm Hotel in Zlaté Hory, at approximately 90 km of the route. Here you can pre-order a hot meal or soup (not included in the entry fee, payment by each participant on site). We will provide specific meals before the start.

In front of the hotel, we will organize the possibility of refilling water or isotonic drink, small snacks for the next journey (bars, bananas, melons, etc. as part of the entry fee).

Hospůdka U Rybníčku, Karlovice

Food: Possibility of pre-ordering a hot meal and soup (not included in the entry fee, payment through the organizer in advance to the account). One drink of your choice for free (you will receive a voucher at the presentation)

Reserved accommodation: 24 places (8x 2-bed rooms + extra bed in each room; possibility of booking a bed in advance, through the organizer MD26).

Price per night: 600 CZK/ 25 EUR, without breakfast.

UB service: and the possibility of replenishing water, isotonic drink, taking a small snack for the next journey (bars, bananas, etc.) as part of the entry fee. Spare parts (not included in the entry fee)

Limit for meeting with the team: Saturday 30.5. at 10:00. Night self-service 1:30-6:00.

OVERNIGHT 1 – 135. KM

Possibility of low-cost overnight stay or nap in the gym of the elementary school in Karlovice (directly opposite RP1).

The second low-cost overnight stay or nap option will be arranged in the gym of the elementary school in Jindřichov.

Depending on the direction you choose to complete the “Osoblaha circuit”, the gym will be at 165.km/220.km.

Autokemp Budišov

Meal: One drink/soup of your choice as part of the entry fee (you will receive a voucher at the presentation). Hot meals during kitchen opening hours. Possibility to order food through co-organizers (before closing, upon arrival shortly after; deadline for orders via WhatsApp 19:00).
Soup will be prepared for competitors who arrive at the RP at night.

Payment by card: yes. Hot meals are not included in the entry fee, payment on site.

SAT+SU – 25 beds

Food: For finishers, a discount of 100 CZK on spending in Cyclosphere (you will receive a voucher at the presentation).

Hostel Tereza, Břeclav

For the nights of Monday and Tuesday, we have additionally booked 8 beds in the neighboring Hostel Tereza. These will be filled by finishers who arrive in the early evening.

Possibility to sleep for free on the roofed terrace of the restaurant.

PARKING AT THE FINISH

Some participants of the MD choose to leave their car in Břeclav for an easier journey from the finish home, and then take the train to the start. For this option, you can use the free parking lot in front of the winter stadium, about 300m from the Cyclosphere.
