MICHAL DUŠEK WON THE MORAVIA GRAVEL 2026
The fourth edition of 2stage event Moravia Gravel is successfully behind us and Michal Dušek became its winner. Michal made another great performance and thanks to second place on Saturday and victory in Sunday’s long stages, he collected a total of 406 points.
Second was Lukáš Šíma (391p) a third Lukáš Blail (372p) – Pavel Zháňal won both short stages and with 309p was 6th in general ranking.
Of the two women, Jana Dubová finished both long stages and together with her partner Jaroslav Rýznar took overall 4th place. But Klára Burdová also rode great all weekend, and was still bursting with good spirits.
In the 50+ category, the MG26 standings are as follows – first Ladislav Machovský (300b), second Pavel Tinka (276) and third Martin Zábranský (237b).
We also have to take our big hats off to Aleš Válek, who on Sunday was battling a developing illness, but still finished the almost 10-hour long route, and after Moravia Divide, RACZ and UB30, he became the finisher of the long routes of all 4 “Main Events” of UB Cup.
